Building your business with appreciation
If you think of yourself when dealing with a contact they will think of themselves. If you think of them, they will think of you. Sounds simple, but for most people this is a radical change to the way they think - a Copernican inversion.

The three easiest ways to get more business are:
- More work from existing customers
- Re-activating past customers
- Referral business
Appreciation marketing is about re-engaging your customers in a meaningful and personal way to ensure that you are at the forefront of their thoughts. It doesn't mean stopping your other marketing, or doing less online, it is additional.
Take your database and divide it into four categories, with the first category being your cheerleaders/advocates/supporters - you should have less than 20! If you have more, go for a long walk then try again. We can tell you about the other categories when we speak. Imagine if every month, or every second month those 20 people received a package from you. And if every time it was interesting to them, would they think of you more? Would this attract more customer referrals? Of course...
